Yeah that super long look of uncertainty from @Soly is the highest drama! That moment was when I knew this was going to be a heart breaker if he didn’t win. I’m glad he did. It’s a milestone.
Just watched the finale - fantastic! Congrats to the whole crew on an amazing season. Can’t wait for #9!

The whole season just looked superb. Congrats to @djpie on that and props @sundaybag and @Cody for shooting.
Although the episode just looked awesome and was fun to watch my favorite part was the quick interview with @Soly reflecting on the last 5 years and his little emotional moment on 2 green when he quit KPMG and started full time.
Cool to hear that.
Many of us have been listening, following, reading and watching since then or earlier and to see the growth has been awesome and something you get invested in to a degree as a “fan”. Congrats, it’s well-deserved, and keep it up.
@Tron Scandinavia would not have been my choice. Good thing. It was really cool. Something I haven’t seen in terms of golf and the cultural overlay was a fun balance. Made me want to go there for sure (Particularly Visby) and was a fun watch. I thought it was well said by Soly that it fits into the puzzle well.
Looking forward to season 9. Regardless of where it’ll be a fun watch. That being said, can I throw out Askernish?

Excellent season gang.
Not sure who all was involved with the decision to start the match at 8 pm local, but with all the difficulties tracking balls the last few holes and clearly exhaustion influencing the quality of play, do y’all regret the choice to start so late?

I just assumed the decision was made to start that late so they could film it in the best light and get the shots they hoped they could and ended up indeed getting.

This and the fact you can play golf at midnight at lofoten. Part of the experience.
Midnight golf was mostly why we went, and the weather for the next day looked wet. Filming in the dark > filming in the rain.

That does sound nice right about now while wind and snow whips across my two homes in Ann Arbor and Cincinnati.
Only downside I see to your location is the snakes in the lawn problem. That remains my biggest hurdle to living in the true south.
