Tourist Sauce Season 8 - Scandinavia: The heartbeats were real!

That’s a good point, Soly, I regret the error. I’ll replace that event with the hitting the tree in the foursomes event.

I’d also like to nominate @MerchCzar’s F-15 ball on 18 at Gearhart.

Also, last night was again a terrific episode. These are all so good on rewatch too.

In a junior golf tournament I saw a kid throw his club and hit own father directly in the shin. I’ve never seen anything like it. And the dad did nothing about it. Just walked it off, clearly in pain.

I was shuddering in fear for how my own dad would’ve reacted had I done that.

Maybe this was covered in the livestream, but what was the genesis of Nasty Neil? I felt like we got in right at the end of that and I need to know more.

“That’s not gonna go in.”

There’s always one line every episode that is perfectly timed that just kills me.

@Soly Have you guys ever considered a team match play portion for the TS competitions?

Gonna be my go-to now for putts that won’t even see the same zip code as the hole

I feel like Soly’s should be when he hit the hill if we are looking at non TS video’s. I can’t remember which video that was from though.

As is expected with the production quality this season, another tip of the hat to Music Supervisor @justine for some great stuff this episode. Loved the little build-up jam on #14 as we were questioning whether or not Tron could pull the upset…

I thought that was Neil

Should be Soly’s Film Room from his Plantation Bay qualifier, had Neil on the bag and the traffic jam that led to almost zero prep.

Randy saying he might fuck around and make one got me thinking. Who makes the first ace on tourist sauce and why is it going to be BIg Randall?

I was fulling expecting a shift to the sad Icarito music.

@Soly already made one in the Oregon season, no?

Just our here choosing chaos. Side note to this, an ace on a par 3 course should count as an ace if you are under the age of 15.

Feels like a Nest pod question

I think Mr. Big at Tobacco Road in Season 5 was closest one in history. I believe that was on #17 at TR. Ollie at Stockholm GK was also extremely close this season.

As the bystander that heavily flinched at the club throw, I just want to say that I fully endorsed it then and fully endorse it now in the aftermath. It comes through but there was something in the air that day at Barseback. Both competitors were chummy on the first 7 or so holes but you could tell the water was heavily salted and the rolling boil was on the brink. Sometimes you just have to let it fly.

As a fan of the club throw - I agree. I also deeply appreciate that it did not appear to sully any moment after the throw.

My take - its ok to get upset and show emotion - but you have to move onto the next shot/hole and not bring the energy of the group down @Tron seemed to do that well :handshake:

The “sorry” mid extension was all that tension being released. It was necessary and we all laughed and moved on quickly. Nothing nefarious here!

Love the immediate “sorry” as well, have been there many times.
