What would be your definition of SoCal and NorCal?
To me SLO county is the top side of SoCal and Monterey County is the south end of NorCal.
It should be noted that I consider myself NorCal all the way despite spending 4 years at UCLA.

You can’t just say Nor Cal is more expensive than So Cal, it’s way too broad of a statement. You need to break it down to a zip code level to compare cost of living.

Yes I should clarify I’m Nor Nor Cal like an hr and a half from the Oregon border. SF is Nor Cal too I should have specified a bit more. SF is disgustingly expensive.
I guess I meant I don’t live within 4 1/2 hours of a major metropolitan area of California and it’s still pricey AF. That said we do have redwoods, beaches, amazing rivers and it never really gets above 75 degrees in the summer on the coast so we got that going for us.

I am another guy who never thought I’d like a GG lesson (have followed him on IG for years, and I am a Golfwrx swing forum old-timer) but after the video I changed my tune 100%. Would love to have a lesson with him.
Good for him to charge and get what he can. Running a self-employed business in California (and worrying about insurance, pay for the guys who help him) isn’t easy even at $500 an hour.

this is how I measure it. Fresno/Monterey = NorCal Bakersfield/SLO =SoCAl

Just to muddy the water…
The state is very diverse.
Bakersfield-Fresno -Modesto = Central Cal
I’m in Fresno. When we are recruiting talent, I tell them it’s not LA of SF. Think Omaha without snow.
