I think Tiger is a slightly slower version of DJ. Rarely takes much time over full shots but is deliberate up around the greens. I would never think of him as a slow player.

I’m from Cincinnati and was a huge Bearcat fan back in the day. During his two seasons, I had a Van Exel jersey that I all day every game day. But, I went to a high school that required a collared shirt. So, I had to wear it in under that.

I had a bit of a ebay addiction for a while, but I’ve donated or sold most of them at this point
My college jersey collection is pretty sparse, just a Corliss Williamson Arkansas jersey (don’t even know why), Tony Delk Kenucky (ditto) and a Tractor Traylor Michigan jersey. My NBA collection is much larger. In addition to having far too many Celtics jerseys - from obvious (Garnett, Pierce, Walker) to throwbacks (Russell, Cousy, Heinsohn, Havlicek, McHale, Bird, Parish) and the sad Pitino years (Tony Battie, Dana Barros). I enjoyed collecting odd jerseys, like MJ on the Wizards or long-named obscure players (shoutout Nikoloz Tskitishvili). I went through a phase of team USA jerseys. I have most of the early 2000s with guys like Iverson, Duncan and Garnett. But my real prize is when I was given the option of any original Dream Team jersey I wanted. I went with Christian Laettner. 12 year-old me made poor life decisions.

Enjoy it while you can, because jersey wearing (IMO) has a shelf life. When I hit 30 I vowed not to wear any jersey of a player younger than me, because there is something sad about a grown man wearing a kid’s jersey. So, I basically haven’t bought a jersey in 10 years.

I’ve worn a jersey exactly twice since I hit 30. Stevie Franchise Maryland Terps – over a t-shirt with a backwards baby blue San Diego Superchargers visor to a strip club in northern Wisconsin. Proud moment.
One other time on a dude’s golf/lake weekend on the boat to the bar. I believe that weekend I also shaved a mohawk into my hair, and wore a tennis sweater around my neck (no shirt) to the bars that night. Super proud.
I had issues.

Yeah it’s pretty much only worn during trips to the beach/pool or climbing trips, I’ve just forgotten it a couple times. I’m currently 28, so I’m definitely aging out of jersey life.

The love for UCONN (especially El Amin, deep cuts) and Corlis Williamson is impressive gents, I must admit. Never been a big jersey guy myself, but I did have a lovely Billy Owens Syracuse jersey growing up, which I loved. I also had a knockoff Jalen Rose Michigan jersey, that I wore more than any 18 year old kid probably should have. I always wanted a Larry Johnson UNLV jersey, or a Bo Kimble Loyola jersey, but either couldn’t find them, or afford them at that time.
I guess for me my favorite is my classic Steelers Polamalu and Mean Joe Greene jerseys.
@Clarkebar is a CT boy born and bred. Plus what’s not to love about Uconn from that era. Their resume is blue bloodish.
