Tourist Sauce, Season 1

I think I heard last night on their recent podcast that they just got done filming season 2 in Scotland.

Only thing I don’t like is Tron’s and Neil’s complete lack of regard for their skin health. Can someone make them wear sunscreen next time!!?

Tourist Sauce is awesome. True star, and perhaps my new hero, is @MerchCzar .

Great series.

I did my honeymoon in Australia. When I go back, I definitely want to include as much of this itinerary as possible. It all looks fantastic.

Really enjoying this and it has made my Tuesdays something to look forward to.

Question:
What is the intro song? It gets stuck in my head for days after watching an episode.

Love the Royal Melborne episode, especially the vignette in the middle of the episode with the faux ancient history lesson of the course. Really cool.

Also impressed with the Merch czar climbing onto the roof of the rental house. Many hidden talents with the NLU crew!

More like Perch Czar in this case tbh

I love the fact that Zac Blair is basically risking his career for these trips. In years past, he’s played in 30+ events, whereas this year he’s only played in 17. Probably because he’s always flying around with NLU guys. The guy seems awesome. He’s 168 in the fedex cup right now, so he needs to get it going. I’ve been rooting for him ever since he’s been in these videos. It’s pretty cool you can see a PGA Tour pro in a casual round at the best courses in the world, and follow the same person in PGA Tour competition.

In years past he’s had full status from being inside the top 125. This year he doesn’t have full status since he finished 126 last year so that has to be contributing to the amount of events he’s played.

Very disappointed in how the guys ate Vegemite. You don’t just squeeze it and eat large spoonfuls. You need to get white bread, throw on some butter and a little bit of Vegemite. It provides a nice salty taste. As an american I love it but you have to eat it in the right manner.

Also shoutout @MerchCzar for walking into a random barber shop to get a haircut. If I was blessed with those locks I wouldn’t let just anyone touch them. I will say however, that the actions of the owner and other patrons were a complete disgrace. I think we need the I-Team to head back down under and dig in to the shady, crooked dealings between the barber shop and the massage parlor across the street. Must be tough on crime!

Episode Seven was just stupid good. If next week is better, which @soly says that it is, my head might explode.

Zero percent risk of overhyping it.

I came very close to hyperventilating and fainting during the Tara Iti video. Future uses of the phrase “it might be too good” will pale in comparison to the only place on earth it actually applies. Tara Iti might simply be too good.

I found myself having anxiety about improperly using my “once in a lifetime pass”

Quite possibly underhyped this episode. I’m gonna stare blankly at Bellerive and fantasize about Tara Iti. Life altering episode.

Though it may scare some off, but it may be nice to give people an idea of costs for trips like these or suggestions on ways to go about it, local gems, etc. Stay in this central location X if you go, check out this affordable public course, etc. The vids with corresponding posts like you did for Ireland & Scotland with photos like last year would be great. I find myself listening/watching then spending another hour looking up photos and sites.

In the video you mentioned that the public can be given a one time chance to play the course if accompanied by a letter of introduction from your club. Does that mean it only applies to people who are members of a private country club elsewhere?
