Tourist Sauce S9 - Who will be the golf daddy?

Are the courses or do they just look good?

I would love for them to do a college town series. Could get @errjordan involved to help her on her quest to hit SEC towns.

If strapped ever came to Cleveland, a legitimately awesome cheap public golf scene, I’d have irrationally strong opinions on which courses they should play.

Same about Dayton.

Roosts should submit Olympic/World Cup bids to host Tourist Sauce

This would be sick. Theres so many ways that it could go. Additional Roost style tournaments, trips to different “venues”, etc.

Would also be great inspiration for another golf trip. TS seems to have a good mix of public/private /accessible courses.

This is a legitimately great idea, except I’d argue Strapped could be better suited to most roosts’ presentation.

With Oregon (and CA) relatively recent, it might be worth holding off until Westport opens, hopefully in the not too distant future.

We’re all going to be dead before Westport is built at this pace.

It’s been 5 years and they’re still doing environmental studies.

Approaching a year since we had the crew here, so I’m rewatching S9 and fuck me it just makes me wanna go play golf.

Michigan into Scandi into Aus v2.0… whatever is next has a high bar to clear and yet I have no doubt it will be cleared.

There’s truly endless options for how another CA season could go.

Here’s my version:

  1. Start in SF with a non-competition round at the re-done Golden Gate Park short course and then do a split-squad day between Corica Park and Presidio (could add in a 3rd from the plethora of private courses).
  2. The recently restored Pasatiempo (It’s worth going back).
  3. Pebble Beach - emphasis on Tourist! Lean into it, why not??
  4. Soule Park - Pretty self explanatory
  5. Riviera - a C-Suite day for the ages
  6. PGA West Stadium - great match play course (& pos putting contest)
  7. Rams Hill - who doesn’t love the Faz’s waterfalls???
  8. Give me the Championship at Torrey Pines North

All the major colleges (and one private prep school) in Indiana would blow most of the SEC schools out of the water.

(I would also love for someone to do a series of the Indiana college courses).

Leave Dayton to the Daytonians Michigan man!

I’m still Dayton til I Die and I have the Heart Mercantile shirt to prove it.
