@djpie put in the impossible situation of dealing with cool kids from the coolest country. Just nothing you can do in that situation.
Did sound levels feel off to anybody else? Felt like anytime there was music it was blasting, and then during golf/talk it was way softer.
I got you
Oh my other half told me that I wouldn’t be allowed in the house if I came home with that hair cut.
Might be an issue of them using a lot of the podcast stuff for the VO’s
“Do you have your papers?”
“weed gummies from Denver”

@djpie can we please get another Spotify playlist for this season? So good!
What was the song that plays during the credit roll tonight? Ask Mrs. maestro? Tried to Shazam it a couple times, but it couldn’t get it.
Thanks!
Also, the back-peddling from the “Ace Cam” mention was
Top 5 episode of tourist sauce for me potentially, the shot of the boys popping up behind the DJ followed by the zoom shot of the curtain opening to with raised beers smashed to the AO. Neil with the provocative haircut cut. Peninsula Kingswood absolutely bucking. Jasper vanquishing Soly. “Thank you for watching”
10/10 episode
What an all time episode! Not sure which member of the crew came up with the idea of shooting DJ and Soly from across bridges(?) or walkways(?) but those shots were a highlight for me.
I cannot tell you how happy it made me watching the boys enjoy Melbourne. Even as a Kiwi it’s my favourite city in the world, and it’s not close.
Wild that you’ve never been to Sydney!
Recency bias, but agree this was really good TS and shows how far the production has come. Even the ads were the B in subtle.
So obvious after you said it but yes very Wes Anderson-esque and that’s probably why I enjoyed it so much.
mine has felt like that all season
It’s totally possible that’s the case. Last night was the first episode I’ve watched with my wife at home so she called it out like “why do you have it so loud?” Felt like any time it switched to music I was rushing to turn the volume down and then back up for other stuff.
I loved the Porterhouse. Great setup with the stage in the middle. Spent many nights there in spring 2003
back during early covid we had a team match play on the 2K21 golf game on PS4. Peninsula Kingwood was the home course so I played it a million times and sometime last year i figured out it was a real course, not just a made up video game course. such a sick course.
Woodsy was the guy who played Thursday nights there and crushed the Crowded House cover. He typically managed to break 3 guitar strings a night - dude must have had some serious calluses.
