Agreed! @djpie cant be easy to put this type of beautiful film together…much less a whole season. Bravo.

So we have the Carolinas next…

Where to after that? Let’s go to a non-English speaking country and really mix it up. I vote for Japan.

America’s heartland will likely be a season as well.

Jesus the undulation… insane I can see why they had such a great time over there

I’ve been waiting all season for Lucozade to make an appearance. That stuff is the best.

Putting together a golf trip in Japan would be an absolute nightmare unless you have a native speaker helping you out from day one. Just getting in a single round of golf took forever to coordinate.

I think they have people over there that do that who would appreciate the publicity NLU gives them.

I don’t know. Golf tourism in Japan is very different than somewhere like Ireland and mostly geared towards other Asian nations. The major Japanese courses aren’t hurting for play, and most of them are very expensive—not to mention that golf in Japan traditionally is a full-day affair. I’d love to see it, but it would be much more difficult to coordinate.

Also, you probably wouldn’t be able to get drone shots for a lot of the courses. Drones in Japan are a huge problem and there are a lot of laws dictating where and when they can be flown, and by whom.

This all sounds like even more of a reason to try. Most things worth doing arent easy, and NLU could be ground breaking with it.

Worst thing that happens is they don’t do it.

If they can pull it off, could be the best season yet and a look into a TRULY different, non-anglo culture.

17 doesnt even look like it could be created in a tiger woods video game

Again, I would love it if they could do it. The reality is, though, that there are other non-anglophile countries that are a lot more accessible to Americans for golf tourism and would require less of a monumental effort on their part. I’d wager that they go back to Europe and do a Benelux, Spain, or France Tourist Sauce first. Hell, they still haven’t done England and Wales.

“Why do they call you a living legend?”

“Because I’m still alive, I suppose.”

Amazing. Cheers to the NLU crew for a great finish to a spectacular season. Definitely going to binge the whole thing again on a weekend at home.

The last birdie race was great and added some good suspense. Any chance you’ll share a list of total birdie count for the trip?

The videography in this episode was fantastic… The shots of the fox and snail were great! Big shout-out to @djpie for the filming

Fans of @Randy can celebrate. Plenty of swings and putts. Our hero was in the mix right until the very end.

Fans of @TomCoyne will be saddened to see his swing covered up by layers of rain gear.

What an awesome day. Is there anyone who can not laugh at @MerchCzar antics? Who amongst us hasn’t launched one 70 degrees offline on a links course. Sometimes it’s hard to know which hole we are playing to.

Sometimes when we play those games last birdie or last three putt wins or loses something we can slow down because one one always wants to putt out or avoid putting out depending on the situation. How do you guys address the 2 footers?

Great season, I appreciated @TomCoyne words about the gang. Nothing more relatable than @djpie Chunk on 17.

Channeling his inner @Lazstradamus at WBYC.

It’s so frustrating to do on 18 (or 17 in DJs case) when you are truly pin hunting.

Great series, Ireland is definitely on the bucket list now.

Just joined up to the Refuge and the Nest … really want Freddie to get to college etc.

So glad I found these guys by mistake. The content is top notch.

Here’s to more Tourist Sauce, Strapped and WWOG seasons in the very near future.

Love your avatar photo so much. My dog is scared of all of my golf gear and won’t go near it at all.
