Plenty of trouble at Dooks (and Lahinch, and BB, and Waterville) made easier to find when the wind (Hurricane) is up. Irish links much tighter than Scottish (is this true???..it is in my experience which isn’t THAT broad)

This is a skill I do NOT possess. Very impressive. I’ve played the same course for 27-36 a day for 3 days on end and still have trouble recalling which hole was which #

Neil looking like a real natural out there on the dance floor. Big Randy & Tron…they’ve got other talents.

Great episode, crack on!

What a wonderful episode…I think it’s my personal favourite! For the course but also for the craic they had afterwards in Killarney which is essential when anyone comes over here on a golf trip!

Tom Coyne playing the Evenflow shaft is the most obvious club fitting in history.

Their swings look like mine look when I get bored and practice in my basement with 7 foot ceilings.

I’ve never smiled 15 minutes straight for ANYTHING. Until the last half of this episode.

So I think that’s fair, but at a certain point it gets to be ā€œwell if I’m going to add ______, I really should add _____ down the road.ā€ You’re never gonna hit all the courses (shoutout @TomCoyne), so why not pick 2 or 3 and really get familiar? If the choice is between a hectic schedule where I try to fit in as many ā€œmust-seeā€ courses as possible, or a week in County Kerry where I don’t have to worry about minute-by-minute itineraries and I still get to play 100+ holes of Irish golf, I’d much prefer the latter.

Awesome episode, but sadly @MerchCzar, aka the Natterjack toad, disappointed me by displaying my only real golf etiquette pet peeve… gotta release the flag when you put the stick back in, am I right?

Day I played Dooks the wind was up so much they had them tied down across the course. Not a Neil miscue

Hmmm interesting. I’d never heard of that happening… maybe they only tied them down on some holes? Because on #18 he was on it though (see 12:11-12:18)

Man I wonder how the gang was feeling after their big night out. Shots that late in the night are always a recipe for a massive hangover

Edit: granted once I do one shot it’s rarely my last

Curious to here how much @GRWhitehead paid for that. We know the guys don’t do free ads.

Considering how often Guinness appears in this season, I think it’s clear they actually have no problem with free ads. Actions speak louder than words.

My price was getting waitlisted. @djpie
