Didn’t @TomCoyne get an honorary membership at BB at the culmination of his famous walk?

How good is that?

Today’s ep should be strong to quite strong, I’d imagine.

Episode 4 Premieres Now!

@djpie The level of cinematography has continued to increase by the episode, and I’ll be damned if someone didn’t at least compliment you and the boys on the work and effort put in to improve the quality of said content. The variety of shots you’re getting continue to push past what most people would expect in a golf “vlog” or course recap video, and that fact you’re able to produce videos like this while playing a round of golf overseas is nothing short of astonishing. We’ve come a LONG way from the Wolfhammer video (collective “we”)

Thank you. And a another shoutout to @rmattgolden for another exceptionally spiritual edit.

Great work again, these never get old.

What’s keeping you? I’m planning on this afternoon

I think that’s the biggest compliment I can give to the boys with all their videos- every time I watch one I’m just itching to get out on the course. The NLU content really makes me want to find that group of buddies I can travel around with and play good and bad courses.

The day job :frowning:

Stuck in the office till 5pm

Having never played links golf - how much more challenging are those courses for a higher handicap golfer? Looks to me like missing fairways is extremely penal up in the long grass of the dunes. Are the fairways a bit wider to accommodate? Would likely make for a really long day for me. Thoughts from those of you with links experience?

Plenty of time. U can play til 630.

THIS.

I keep a little notebook at my desk with places I’d love to visit/play just in case I need motivation to get through the day. Soly’s idea of starring courses on Google Maps is really good too

It depends on what makes you a high handicap and what the weather does. If there is a calm day, the courses are forgiving and you may have a better round—unless you are a high handicap because you have hands of stone and can’t chip or putt. However, and this is a big however, low handicaps benefit even more in these conditions and 69 watch is on for them. But links golf is my favorite kind of golf and I started playing them at handicap 20 and worked down to about 13-15. Whistling straights not links golf. Stricker took words out of my mouth on that podcast.

Group of ladies at my club do to a golf trip every year. Four of them went to Bandon recently and had a blast. Even better, they said the caddies absolutely loved them because they played and where there to have fun and not shoot a score.

One of my golf girlfriends and I are trying to put together a trip to Chambers Bay. We figure the course might give us some token swag in honour of getting millennial(ish) women out there

Not much longer though. I’m dreading the return to standard time. Any mid-week golf would require leaving at noon.

I’m fine, until DST ends. I can usually leave a little early in time to sneak nine in until then.
