I think the crew pretty much took momâs advice regarding the course - if you donât have anything nice to say, donât say anything.
As @aannddyy00 said, the undertone was fairly obvious that the course was lacking. But, why go denigrate the course (and then the wonderful people they profiled at the resort) in a video?
Itâs a little different for @Soly @djpie and @Randy to talk about the course on this thread, which is seen by a much smaller audience.

I just do. Always have been a super early riser. As kid, my mom tried everything to get me sleep (so that she could sleep), including blacking out my windows with cardboard. Didnât matter.

@MauiSurf The issue doesnât appear to be that they chose to get a tad bit political in this episode, the issue appears to be that you donât agree with their politics. Had they been overtly pro-Trump, would you have made the same post?

Iâm sorry you felt the way you did about this one (and thank you for watching/following/engaging as much as you clearly have). But hearing people lecture us on what does and doesnât have a place in our content is pretty rich. You can take away from it whatever you want, but telling us what the content is âforâ is laughably selfish.
I think youâre right that we could have explained more about what we didnât like about the golf course (which we did on the pod), but thatâs not as easy as it sounds. Itâs incredibly hard to explain the details on video (while also trying to keep pace of play, etc.) and the last thing we wanted to do was to have a 20 min video of us complaining about the golf course under a pile of the most gorgeous drone footage we shot all season. That just wouldnât have worked. So we figured an omission of golf details would kind of speak for itself.
Btw⌠I thought Trump Bedminster was an awesome golf course and I had a great time there. Pretty sure I was wearing my Holderness & Bourne NLU Surfside Polo, which you can buy here:
