Could just be because I’m used to it at this point, but have also used other forums over the years and think the Refuge (Discourse) is the best one by far. It’s fast, easy to get around, and has a modern UI

I think that’ll be the case for most, what you’re used to.
When I originally joined it was very hard to navigate. Most of my message board experience was on vBulletin. Almost 3 months later, I feel like it’s getting easier to use. Though in dark mode the logo to navigate back to the home page could be easier to see.

Seems unlikely. Those typically cost $20-$30. That’s a big chunk of $90.

I know he did. Just saying I wouldn’t expect it. If it was an additional fee, much more likely. I run an eClub, BCN runs one, etc.
On the other hand not every AGA has the same structure. Mine (WPGA) derives almost all of its revenue from WHS.

Need to update my first post to say “pointless on all fronts”, which again, is a perfectly fine reason to nuke a thread. But think of poor @anon68983737, out here in these streets working for likes. Hard earned likes that he’ll never get back.
He has a hard enough time getting likes as it is, now we’re taking them from him? It’s just a shame, really.
(I’ll have no evidence submitted that shows that he has several multiples of my likes count)

What is with the psychotic reaction to new threads here? I’ve really never seen anything like it. I know this seems unlikely to change as it’s part of the culture, but for real…how did it get this way? Believe me, I have searched but…

I get it that duplicate threads get annoying, but wow. I feel like I’ve stumbled on a weird island where evolution took its own course. The animals are kind of familiar, but the dogs have hooves and the cats have two heads.
