Looks like shorts and quarter zip weather to me!
We’ll be riding (TPC Sod Farm!) So I’ll likely go joggers. But otherwise yes.
Played Friday afternoon in 50 degrees and hail. Could not grip a club for a couple holes. I was unprepared as I legitimately forgot that 50 is kinda cold when you have thin summer blood. Big change from 87 degrees in northern Michigan a few days prior.
It’s 104 here today. Poolside with drinks.
It’s half of that currently and we should have a little more to go as the afternoon goes on. I miss this time of year in your neck of the woods.
I think I’d take 50 over 104. I can still drink when it’s cold.
First frost delay of the season happened this morning. Probably only 2ish weeks left before it’s shut down for the year.
Hey Thereee
NSU missed the match play playoff by 5 strokes (over 36 holes).
SO CUT MY WRISTS AND BLACK MY EYES
For golf? Absolutely.
For spending the day around/in a pool with cold beverages? You enjoy that 50°.
At 104*, even that doesn’t sound all that appealing.
I have long said I prefer to be too hot than too cold.
Having said that, breaking out sweaters and hoodies this week has quietly given me half chub.
It’s a desert, I’ve lived in both Wisconsin and probably 10 or so miles max from where @Forty is, I would take the 104 by the pool any day over what we have here right now.
But can @Forty layer with a tasteful vest in that weather??
It’s more of finding a nice athletic T weather, but I’m not going to tell him how to dress.
I’m familiar. I grew up in Southern California and went to college in a desert. It’s still too hot.
I’m not trying to suggest 104° is where I want the temp on the daily. I’m looking forward to cooler weather for sure. But while the fine folk of the Midwest are talking about golf in the 30’s I’m sitting poolside with a drink. It was a light ribbing. That’s it.
Desert golf>>>>>parkland style golf
No. But I could say a bunch of stuff about the apparel I’m going to be looking at today that would get me “bonked” for being horny.
