Apologies for bringing this up here, it was mentioned above and I was excited to talk about my favorite course. I legit had no idea this was such a contrarian take. I disagree with a lot of your takes here too, but that’s okay. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The staff has been awesome to me, and I think it’s great bang for buck relative to other good golf I’ve played. Yeah I played it off peak. I really like the decision making on the par 4s and the green complexes are cool. Maybe I haven’t played the best, but it’s my favorite. I’ll keep my mouth shut on the topic, again, sorry if I offended (?) anyone

Let’s put CLLB to bed and say it’s a good course at too high a price, and we’d be happy to get a Great Lakes Region discount if we were to bring our masses to play there.
That said, can we get some Lawsonia takes for the Hoosiers that have not visited? Is it as hard as it plays on PGA 2k23 (impossible)? Did we find out whether we’re permitted to bring our own meats to grill?

I will start with the most basic of takes.
The Woodlands is an underrated golf course.
It gets dumped on because it’s next to the Links. If it were a public course in the suburbs of MN, people would be fighting over tee times to play it every day.
