Hell yeah! I love the stuff. There’s a great little restaurant near me that does a 1/3 bottle with an antique fountain. They also do half price everything for happy hour saturday afternoons.
So I may have gotten absinthe drunk a time or 3 there…

Remember when people were talking about not being sure how they stumbled home? This was part of it.
As @DombrowBryan mentioned, we do a lot of drinking here:
- We have a bar for every ~1500 people
- Have 7 or the top 10 cities in the entire country for alcohol consumption
- Some of the lowest alcohol taxes but some of the largest numbers per capita raised from them.
It’s not that we are necessarily proud of it, it’s just how things go here.
