The Op3-'n:10k or bust (Part 1)

For sure. I love me a good tequila mule, but they taste so damn good that they can be a problem, hence the “and” death. As @Forty said, it’s an s-tier liquor.

The moment I got introduced to tequila mules is the moment that my life changed forever.

2oz rum
.75oz fresh lime juice
.5oz simple syrup (I actually prefer a petit cane syrup, but that’s harder to find. Anyone can make simple at home.)

Shaken hard for 15-30 seconds, and strained into a chilled glass. Enjoy quickly!

Anybody else enjoy some absinthe cocktails? After having some legit 160+ proof shit in New Orleans that gave me an immediate drunk Ive come to enjoy it fancied up ornused as a rinse.

If you do an absinthe rinse in a daiquiri it becomes a Greta Garbo (named after the actress) and that cocktail rocks!

Please report back!

Chili and cinnamon rolls are a weird/good Iowa thing.

That’s @duncmitchell’s siren song as far as I know.

Feels appropriate to let everyone know on Monday I enjoyed a couple slices of cinnamon raisin bread topped with Kraft Cheez Whiz and a few sliced green olives.

And before you ask, of course it was in a Lutheran church. There’s no better venue for this Michelin cuisine.

It’s an acquired taste but yes! I tend to add a bit more to my Sazeracs to get that Absinthe flavor to come through, really good stuff.
