The Old Broken Bucket - IN Roost Major

Generally, my content capturing was piss poor this weekend, but I grabbed a few shots.

@epav1019 at bear slide with PEAK TommyLad vibes.

Handless Zach taking on the par 3 16th at bear slide.

Great shots—I’m in content organization mode so anyone that got media, drop it here or email it!

Will gladly be back next year. Had a great time and love some Indy golf. Very underrated public golf city. Looking forward to the Purdue courses next year.

I do feel a little scummy as I’m definitely a better player when I get to come back north and get away from bermuda grass :joy: Nate and I were also vibing a bit as the High Noons got flowing, so got the most out of my game this weekend

On its face it seems scummy on a surface level, but when you look at the receipts and realize you put up -19 there’s really no question lol

You guys (both) kicked ass. But yes, F Bermuda. Looking forward to dethroning you and @natebeck01 at Kampen next year

Gentlemen, my bucket is full after this weekend.
The competition and the camaraderie, both on and off the course, are what it’s all about to me. I’ll be riding this vibe through the end of the season.
Only saddened by the rain dampening (see what I did there?) everyone’s spirits for the post round hang after Purgatory. It was great getting to know some new faces, and seeing some old ones as well… if you are on these boards just lurking in the threadspace, I can’t encourage you enough to take the leap and put yourself out there, #getinvolved. I guarantee that there is someone you’ll connect with at an event, and that will bleed into the next and the next after.

Congrats to @BStew on the NIT spot and to @natebeck01 for his spot on the Roost Regional Team. Also big thanks to @djpie and the brass for the big box o’ swag, that thing chummed the waters in the Bear Slide grill room, absolute feeding frenzy.

I meant to force @BuffaLouies to recite this except from Samuel Woodworth’s “Old Oaken Bucket” which is embossed into the alumni grudge trophy, but I yielded, I’ll leave it here instead…

“How sweet from the green mossy brim to receive it,
As, poised on the curb, it inclined to my lips!
Not a full blushing goblet could tempt me to leave it,
Though filled with the nectar that Jupiter sips.”
-Samuel Woodworth (1784-1842)

Well done, and well played!
