On the other hand, the fact that anyone was able to “fix” Wyndham Clark (even temporarily) to get an elite season of golf out of him is pretty remarkable. Dude seems like a mental nightmare.
I imagine golfers go to people like this for quick fixes to slumps, not to achieve a permanent sense of nirvana. Keep in mind there’s a bit of a selection bias where the most troubled or slumping golfers are the ones most likely to seek this kind of help. I really doubt Scottie sees a shrink.

Yeah I’ve got no expertise here or opinion on whether the person interviewed is good at what she’s advertising, but I imagine sports psychologists have the same portfolio problem that public defenders do. Can’t judge them just based on the failures/losses.
I give Soly credit for getting through that interview, she’d ask him a question and then he’d try to answer it and she would be cutting him off with the yeps. The whole "are you a good dad/ son/ husband, line of questioning was a little odd. I think she was trying to get to not put so much importance on your game angle, but I fear that Soly will be more concerned on the course that he doesn’t call his parents enough instead of his 12ft slider for birdie. I know it is all personal preference and I couldn’t afford either one but I think I would rather Dr. Bob and his whimsically endless Pat Bradley tales.
