After much thought and consideration, Tron has compiled his dream eighteen holes and shares them with D.J. and Soly. The stipulations were that only holes on courses TC has played were eligible, and the hole number from the course in question must match the hole number on his Dream 18.

This is the skill that these guys have that I am most jealous of. I’ve always struggled with remembering individual holes and course routings of places I’ve only played 1-2 times.

I really enjoyed this but it was so C-Suite!
The number of mentions of Pine Valley was tuff!
I look forward to the Strapped Boys getting in the weeds on this one and calling out bangers like:
- that hole in Strapped Peoria that backed onto that 1970’s low rise apartment complex;
- the hole in Strapped Louisiana where you could hit one into the on course art gallery;
- that hole in Strapped SoCal where Max Homa drove the green and made eagle on the putt that turned 90 degrees at the hole

I think someone should make a dream bell 18 - all holes that have bells on (would also accept some sort of viewing function ala the periscope on 1 at Elie or the video set up on 7 at Gearhart)

Love it.
I have only played a few James Braid courses, but he might be low key the best GCA. Dude is seriously underrated.
10th hole at Elie is elite. Coolest hole on the golf course, IMO. The green site and reveal is one of the best.
If I made this list, it would be impossible for me to leave 13 at North Berwick out. It’s the best.

a dream 18 but each hole has to have a different function?
Can only have one bell hole, one periscope hole, one of the traffic light buttons at Cruden etc etc

I wasn’t expecting there to be a single hole I had played on his list, imagine my surprise when it was Bandon Trails 15.
In my own rankings I’d have these higher:
Erin Hills
Streamsong Black
Rustic Canyon
Diamond Springs
Among many others.

I am by no means as well traveled as @Tron but I did my best here! It really is a hard exercise the moment you choose one hole on a course and remove all other options.
Drag me and my choices all you want! Some choices were made simply for nostalgia (for me), or how I’ve played the hole, fond memories, etc.
