The Midwest "Ope"-in August 20th & 21st, 2021: We're Getting The Band Back Together?

Was it ever decided if the 2022 Ope-In will act as the midwest Roost v. Roost competition for a spot in the NLU club championship?

Not officially, but I think it’s a perfect opportunity

Keep some spots open for intersectional visitors, please!

This is a dictatorship, so, maybe.

Do we know how many people will play in the club championship?

I second this, I’ve moved from WI but would definitely come back to Central WI for this, too good.

The question is should the “Ope”-in be for the NIT or for the NLU Club Championship. Tough call.

Not yet. Hoping to know after the first captains meeting next month.

I think the pod made it clear NIT events and club events were separate?

Love the gif though.

Oh I guess I missed that, we really need an outline for these Roost guidelines.

The battle for the club championship spot will only be 4 people. I don’t see why we couldn’t have a “separate” tournament for everyone else. If we have the same turnout as last year that would still be 50+ people.

When you’re right, you’re right.

Could be 2 from reach region for the Club Championship playoff but either way. The qualifiers just can’t be joined IIRC - like we can have events that have both but you can’t win spots in both.

Ya that’s exactly what I was thinking
