Course is in Kentucky. It’s at least gotta be Kentucky bourbon
That was more in reference to the drink of choice from the previous editions. I will most definitely be bringing some Bourbon with me for this one.
You’re catching on.
@Douger23 please don’t bring IN bourbon…
I take it you didn’t like the Indiana Rye I brought to Sweetens that was conveniently picked to pour for the shots? Lol, I brought that with me as a leftover bottle from going to Hard Truth on my bachelor party. I fully intend to bring some actual bourbon that is much better than that. Lol
When planting the honey hole, we wanted to plant a piece of TN since that’s home for us, but future bottles fersureee
I can attest that the Derby targets and par 3 options for the late afternoon are a good time.
I’ve bugged Randy on Twitter too many times to mention, that Bardstown would be the ultimate strapped trip. I’m not sure what the walking rate at park mammoth is, but Park Mammoth, Lincoln Homestead, and take your pick, budget depending, of My Old Ky Home and Maywood. Not even mentioning all the off course things you can get into
I don’t know if PM has a walking specific rate at this point actually. In terms of a strapped trip, I could absolutely see Bardstown causing them to get their nose over their ski’s a bit. The bourbon can dig into the budget quickly!
Maybe Elijah Craig could hook them up. My Old Ky Home Golf Course runs right by the Heaven Hill Distillery
Just checked and it looks like we are only 11 spots away from a full field! Also, just a reminder that we would like to have the $50 deposit paid by 12/1 to the Venmo handle @ highcottonclub (space added between the @ and name to keep from tagging our entire roost). Feel free to reach out to myself or @leftysauce with any questions on the deposit.
Only 10 spots left before we hit the alternate list! Thanks for #gettinginvolved
I will post an update on deposits in the next few days as I hope to have a complete update on the new date
The STROH’S crew will be visiting Sweetens in May and then I turn back around and join your respectable people.
The event you qualified for will be in May too
, I might want to start collecting frequent flier miles.
You should absolutely be doing that already! Hahaha
DATE CHANGE
As you may already know, we have been working to confirm a date change to June 3 in an effort to accommodate certain “guests” from across the country. While we understand this date change could affect your ability to make the trip, it’s our sincerest hope that the extended notice will be sufficient time to adjust your travel plans… I can assure you, if all goes to plan, the date change will be more than worth it and provide an extra layer of excitement that you won’t want to miss.
In order to make this date change possible, we had to adjust the hotel booking to the Hilton Garden Inn at 1020 Wilkinson Trace, Bowling Green, KY. A group rate will be available soon under “The Extinction” at the rate of $124/night for a room with double beds. An updated Infopacket is linked below, included on the event home page on Unknown Golf, and available on all High Cotton channels.
Again, thank you for your support of The Extinction, and your patience as we’ve worked to pivot accordingly. We look forward to seeing you in Kentucky soon!
If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or @Douger23

Absolutely! If you’re not a member of the High Cotton Club, you can use the link below to sign up
In the words of Brian Ross, “not too shabby for being open for eight months”
