That makes two of us and I’m helping pick this stuff! Lol
As the folks on the waitlist get antsy, you may receive a payment request. Although final payment isn’t due until 5/8, we want to have enough time to bump folks off the waitlist if necessary and still have all the personalized gifts ordered in time.
That being said… @golfingossett you’re up!
As we stand, thirty one guys are fully paid, leaving 44 who have submitted their deposits, and 13 hoping to get off the waitlist.
Let’s keep up the momentum so we can get these gifts ordered
Low quality picture for some high quality hats
Everyone will receive the white one, and the grey/black will be for sale along with a dad hat
I think I may end up spending almost as much on extras as the event itself at this point!
34, and counting!
There will be leftover headcovers from the past available, and other classic High Cotton hats too
35!
What is the tentative schedule for Friday? Trying to plan arrival time.
Tee times are set to begin around 11, and will roll through about 1, which should give players just enough time to get back to the hotel and rinse off before the Calcutta
REMINDER:rotating_light:
Final payment is due Monday, 5/8. If you can not make it, please let us know ASAP so we can work down the waitlist.
Everyone will receive an email this afternoon with another reminder. If you have already full paid, THANK YOU!
One month out from the practice round and event kick off!
Time for another hole preview?
Also, drop any questions y’all have on IG and we can touch on them on the pod
ducks
Any talks of a Park Mammoth preview pod? Maybe the culmination of all the hole summaries…with that monday deadline looming guess i better book a flight and settle up…cant wait!
Oh, we’re in the lab
11 is the practice round, right? When the Calcutta 6ish?
By Gawd I think it is!
We left y’all on the fun par 3 7th with the statement that 8 is coming. 8 don’t look like much from the tee when you can’t see the green, but you gotta make a decision on the tee that effects the rest of the hole. Do you go full big golfer and bomb driver? Or do you lay back and leave yourself a full swing in with a mid iron or wedge?
Once you crest the hill after the tee box, you see the green complex which is personally one of my two favorite solo greens on the property (looking at you hole 12). Short right is an absolute back stop pin where the move may even be to throw it all the way up and spin in back off the top shelf! If the pin is on that top shelf, your bags better be flying free with a patented @Jrob0822 flighted wedge or the ball will spin back off the 5 yard deep landing area. Anything short can catch a false front and roll backwards or end up in the front bunker. Anything long is in a back bunker or the native grass! The left side of the green brings the same short and long fears right back into play as the right!
All in all, I believe that 8 is the best match play hole on the property and a fun challenge no matter your playing abilities!
Later than that, stay tuned for an exact time
To add… I have almost never hit a good drive on this hole. The target line is a tree in the distance, but it’s a mental trip to commit to it. If your ball is hit hard and lands right/center of the fairway, you miiiight be in the native. While I’m stuck with driver in hand trying to pull a wedge, a lot of our better players have started taking less than driver to avoid trouble and the slope it still putting a wedge in their hand (even if it is off a downslope)
The green complex truly speaks for itself. Sure, the front right is sick to spin wedges into, but back tier is so shallow… we’re going to have some fun with these hole locations
Played this hole 5 or 6 times and had less than 100 in every time… 1 par!! Every other score bogey or worse!!
