Premiered tonight. Very enjoyable watch and a great idea. No way in hell I could do it.
Seriously guys, incredible work all around! Think we need to keep an eye on @djpie ahead of the next Tourist Sauce season, his game was looking tidy. Great sound design as always from @justine and loved seeing @StatGuy keeping DJ in the zone at Erin Hills after that marathon.
The Pie man turned it on that last 9.
Enjoyed this so much. What a cool idea and so well executed.
Hiding a comment on the match result.
Summary
25&24 is hilarious on paper. DJ is such a good sport. A true gentleman of the game!
Dudes rock.
Spoilers on the ending.
Nice little callback to the DJ no flags filmroom as well.
I’ve been waiting for this ever since he talked about it on the pod and it did not disappoint. What a fun ride and a great memory for a lifetime for them.
I have so many things I want to praise, but my primary first-watch takeaway was how well-edited this was to show the ebbs and flows of their energy during different points of the trip.
Summary
Really felt my heart rate go up when they were geeked and running around on Mammoth, and could feel the drudgery of DJ’s Blackwolf Run rounds emanating from the screen, while Stephen was vibing his face off and maybe feeling a little bad about whipping DJ’s ass for basically 27 straight holes.
Summary
Yeah, Stephen dropped the hammer.
That was freaking awesome content @djpie
Dream Loop was epic–but neither of these guys has ever woken up pre-5am for a round!? Least relatable thing I’ve heard!
I never have.
I can’t believe how well everything was filmed in spite of the speed of the rounds… great work by all involved!
Shoutout Dave! Thank you @djpie
Here’s the link for anyone who was like “What is a Dream Loop?” (like me for instance).
Didn’t even think of adding the link. Way to clean it up for me.
This is not helping the “I want to move to Milwaukee” (or Gearhart) conversation I am having with my girlfriend recently.
Great video looks like it was a blast. At first I thought they were walking every course, which I didn’t think it was physically possible.
Also DJ just needed another 180 holes. Was just starting to come back when they reached the end
