God the one time I don’t check this thing I was up there myself last weekend from Friday - Sunday and was lucky enough to play NSW, Royal Sydney and the Lakes. NSW absolutely blew me away! The place is sensational. Pretty cool to get 2 crescendos in the round, 5-7 and then 13-16.
Pretty cool to see the Gill Hanse course plans Royal Sydney were voting on last weekend too, @ScottW any word on whether the vote passed to go ahead with the renovation?

Yeah members approved the Hanse work at RSyd about 70/30 back in September 2019. It then went to the local council for approval and got blown up by locals, so was escalated to the Land & Environment Court, which approved it late last year.
So three green lights and racing, they just need to fit into Gil’s schedule, which is a lot more packed now than it was back when he signed on.
On another note — MacKenzie & Ebert made their first presentation to NSWGC members last night. They’re certainly very detailed and prepared. Work penciled in for summer 24/25.

This is a guy named Andrew Kirby for those new to the issue.
My disbelief is not even that he’s using a burner, it’s that he’s so fkn dumb that the burner account follows only two people — his main account and Elon Musk — and literally 98% of its posts are White Knighting for Andrew Kirby whenever he says dumb shit and gets called an idiot. Took all of three clicks and 10 seconds to identify it as a Kirby burner.
And people before the courts have their future in this clown’s hands!

I’ve been snooping as well. The Age did Dan Andrews dirty with two gloves…looks like he’s playing blades though, and that’s not a bad approximation of the RM clubhouse in the background

Who’d have ever imagined that stalking and denouncing Dan Andrews for two full years during a pandemic when he’s the singular reason the Vic Government is shelling out to bring the event to the state would lead to him not selecting your club to host?
I mean, it’s impossible to predict that might be what happens…

I’ve seen Kirby very active and very pro-LIV. Hadn’t noticed his white knighting burner. What’s the handle?
I also wonder whether his animosity towards the PGA tour is linked to the Presidents cup as slice roulette suggests?
Overall the guy seems a total cooker. A guy I know who is member at RM said to me once that his outspokenness wasn’t appreciated much while he was captain.
