Its been a busy time.
Flicking through pictures on my phone rn…can anybody help me identify what kind of plant this is? Took this at Kingston Heath on the left side of #14 IIRC
Thanks to my horticulturist father-in-law, I believe this is Corymbia ficifolia.
It’s a lovely humble brag too!
“Does anyone know what these flowers are from my trip to Georgia? Azaleas maybe?”
Have just locked in a trip down to Melbourne the weekend to watch Lions test (25th-27th July). Any recommendations for an easily accessible round (uber from the CBD) on a Friday (solo high-handicapper but can get around fine) and Saturday am (with a slightly worse handicap playing partner)?
Hell yeah! That’s gonna be awesome
Has anyone here ordered any tees from the NLU store? If so, how was the sizing?
I’m looking to get one of the new Levelwear tees but the no return policy for international orders is spooking me.
Don’t have a Levelwear t-shirt (thought you meant tee pegs on first read ) but the lightweight hoodie is basically t-shirt material and would say that runs slightly snug. Size up if you’re in between I reckon, but check the sizing guides in the shop and reach out to Casey if you need to.
I’m 6’1” 97kg, 45-inch chest, 36-inch waist and a large Levelwear t-shirt fits me comfortably. Not at all snug in the waist but a good fit through the chest and shoulders.
That includes 3-4 NLU tees and 3-4 others from golf clubs. Sizing very consistent.
Also, Levelwear is the shit. Great fabrics, they age well, wear great. Highly recommend.
Thanks for this!
First time in this thread. Looking for suggestions from locals and travelers.
I’m coming to Melbourne and Sydney for a short banger of a golf trip in January.
Day 1 - Victoria
Day 2 - 36 at RM E/W
Day 3 - Metropolitan
Day 4 - 36 at KH
Day 5- Australian Club
Day 6 - 36 at NSW
Short but very sweet. I arrive at around noon the day prior to our first official day. Would love to hear what I should do with 24 hours in Melbourne. Probably should take the time to see one of the great cities of the world, but I will be tempted to try and squeeze in another round maybe at Sandy Links?
Would love the community’s advice on this. Thank you in advance.
That is an absolutely wild itinerary @ChasingScratch - I have very little to add other than that Sandy Links might feel like a letdown squeeze amongst all those bangers… and I say that as someone who absolutely adores Sandy Links!
Public golf fills my cup up so it might be perfect, but I think I’ll take the time to explore Melbourne and soak it all in.
What is it that’s led to you playing at The Aussie?
Honestly don’t know. My buddy set up the trip so I’m not sure if it was availability of other places on the days we had after getting the can’t miss rounds secured.
Have you played?
