Damn this fires me up! Make sure we get all the content from TR and wherever else y’all are playing tomorrow to hold all of us who aren’t coming till tomorrow/Thursday over. That way we can live vicariously through y’all.

I used to be on the road all the time for work and audible was my go to, could always find a book that was interesting around the length of time for the drive. Mixed up fiction and non-fiction (biographies, true crime).
For fiction I always liked Clive Cussler novels (James Bond’ish) or Tom Clancy.
Non-Fiction there are so many good deep dives so really just think of your hobbies and can find some great stuff (I loaded up Jason Schriers book on the video game development cycle which got good press). Also Ben Mezrich has had some really good ones - The social network was based on his book ‘Accidental Billionaires’ and 21 was on ‘Bringing Down the House’. He did a few others about online poker and oil trade which are good listens. I do enjoy autobiographies read by the person (Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Rob Lowes were all awesome)

I’ll probably pack atleast one or two very very thin pairs but I’ve come to terms with the fact this will be a shorts and rain coat weekend.
I’ve turned my attention to being excited about new socks.

Hmm…I was going to change my normal route to avoid the mind numbing stretch coming from 81, but I guess all the roads around Pinehurst are mind numbing…

Got it, just made it to my hotel in Savanah heading into Fayetteville all day tomorrow visiting the old stomping grounds. Tobacco Road Thursday 1030.
I’m already 350 miles deep chomping at the bit to get this show rockin!

I have been lurking in here although I will not be enjoying the fun with y’all this weekend. That being said welcome the Old North State and hope you enjoy your time here.
