The question came up today about post round dinner plans.
Not sure what everyoneâs thoughts are but they do have a pub on-site that stays open till about 10-11pm (sometimes later if they are busy) https://www.ailsapub.com/. Keeps it simple and people can drink without having to worry about driving. Iâm also open to suggestions if there is anyone that knows the area well.
In addition I know there was some interest early on about some mini golf. Based on my very short research I believe Captain Hookâs Adventure Golf would be the best option based on the location of Legends. If there is enough interest I would be down to do a little pre dinner mini golf match (letâs say 5pm).

Captain Hooks has always been one of the best, if not the best, mini golf courses in the MB area. I have not played it in a couple of years, but was never disappointed going there.

Format/Team Updates: @PalmettoGolfSociety
As everyone knows this events will be a 2-person best ball team competition. The events committee has decided that for the points awarded in our season long race for the majors, the first place team will split the first and second place points typical awarded to individuals (180 + 140 = 320 á 2 = 160). Second place team will split 3rd and 4th place points and so on and so forth. The distribution will be as followed:
1st - 160 points each
2nd - 115 points each
3rd - 95 points each
4th - 75 points each
5th - 55 points each
6th - 35 points each
7th - 15 points each
8th-10th - 10 points each
In addition, unfortunately the great @hwb lost his partner and instead of him playing by himself for the team competition and mostly likely guaranteeing a DFL finish, we have decided to give him a âghostâ teammate which will be @dclthomas.
@dclthomasâs score will count for both his main team with @tigergolftraveler and @hwb, HOWEVER he can only win points for his main team.
Everything should be loaded into Unknown Golf now. We will be using the live scoring feature on Saturday so please download the app and create an account if you havenât done so already. You will see 3 leaderboards (Gross, Net, Team) however the TEAM leaderboard will be the only one that matters for the competition.

I tested positive for Covid this morning and need to forfeit my spot. Needless to say I am devastated. I had been looking forward to having my Tom Doak cherry popped, and spending a weekend with all you fine gentlemen. Fortunately, Legends was kind enough to give me a rain check on the rounds for 18 months. And so I beg the tournament committee, please run this again next year.
With that being said, @hwb is no longer partnerless. Heath gets a stallion of a partner in @Paden
