December in NoDak this year…
Basically no snow on the ground. Still mostly green grass in my yard.
2-day ice storm during Christmas.
Today’s forecasted high is 40F.
A year ago, we already had a foot or more of snow, a major blizzard, and one of those polar vortex/arctic blast things.
Still looking forward to California in February.

I apologize for not having kept you all updated recently. Lots of stuff going on personally. Add that to the chaos of the holidays and I haven’t been able to get to posting a usable update. Expect a real update by the 2nd week of January. The price is going to be closer to the $160 number, not the $200 number.
Also, please be prepared to make the entry payment upfront as I have to pay the course in one lump sum. I will most likely want the payment via venmo. I’m trying to look into how getting payment via venmo will affect me re: taxes. Taxing venmo transactions is so stupid.
Anyway, I will be asking for payment in mid/late-January (probably 3rd/4th week of January, so I humbly ask that all planning to attend to be prepared for that.

I just did a quick search and we might be alright. I don’t think what I will be taking payment for will be classified as “goods and services”.
I think if we ask the people making their “payment” for tee times we can ask them to put in the notes what the payment is for (ie “money to cover my potion of tee time” or something generic like that).
Should I expect to pay you too or am I still TBD for Saturday?
This is exactly what I’m hoping for too, but should be able to confirm for you 100% in January.

Even if you do get a form, you just report the payouts and it’s not taxable.

I am going to cut off the ability to enter at some point in mid/late January, probably when I take payment. Once I do that I will have a solid idea of how many players there are. If there is a player count that isn’t divisible by 4 it will be a slam dunk that you are in. If there isn’t I might hold on to a tee time or two following the event for any so cal natives that can only make it one of the days.

Little more than a month out. And these cold wintery days have me looking for golf. Those of you thinking about Thursday golf, where are you thinking? Kicking around a warm up on Soule Park but might head to Rustic.
