The Cut: A Weekly(ish) Live Show with Cody and Ben

I’m an idiot who couldn’t find this thread and tried starting a duplicate… :man_facepalming:

Anyway… a couple of questions

  • Fat guys in cardigans :+1: or :raised_hands: ?

  • Did they have funnel cakes at the DMZ theme park?

I would wear the shit out of the sweater.

No funnel cakes. But we did eat what they described as traditional North Korean Food which was weird. And made me feel horrible knowing that like a mile away the vast majority of North Koreans were starving. And the noodles were cold

Rocking a cardigan is all in the mindset. A cardigan and a tie is the ultimate power move.

Yeah, absolutely.

I’m really hoping they wind up in the store at some point. Whether or not a license is required.

It works

Due to a big weekend at the NIT, we are filming The Cut this afternoon. We will be joined by the chief planning and logistics officer at NLU, @Tron. Fire over all your golf, planning, or travel questions and we will get them dialed up.

I will send a link over for the show once I get into Jax. Cheers

How do you go about planning meals on trips? Not just Tourist Sauce, but even for going to PGA/LPGA stops and NLU events. Do you source recs from locals or expats you know? Is it scouring Eater lists?

When it comes time to book trips (specifically flights) how much weight do you give to each of the following?

  • Departure times
  • Total travel time (layovers etc)
  • Trusting the Airline
  • Cost

Is it more important that you get a your favorite airline vs getting your preferred departure time or having a shorter flight or saving money? etc.

Man glad I checked this thread today I blocked out time for tomorrow on my work schedule. Hope I’m able to sneak it in today

How much of the onsite logistics (rental cars or transportation to and from places) gets planned ahead of time and how much is as simple as getting an Uber? And have there ever been times where you were “stuck” with a bunch of bags/equipment that needed to get somewhere and you had to scramble to find a solution?

getting your sticks to the destination - airline vs shipping services

Firing it up in about 10 minutes if anyone would like to join. Cheers-

Says the video is private. I’m assuming that means you haven’t kicked it off yet?

Also it’s a youtube link???

Seems like things are getting out of hand at the NIT already!
