FTFY
We’re going to have to make emails hidden so only @midwestgolfbum can see them.
I barely ask for any info, much less emails
Widen the left a little to tempt people like @Aham13 more (maybe even remove the front left tree). And clean up that right angle further - though with that bunker, I’m still hitting and iron to the tongue.
Sounds like you all need to play Woodlands 2 with @lazyjk so he can show you the proper strategy.
@Aham13 our group on Saturday can confirm right is not the play.
Did it involve putter from like 150 yards out?
Forgot how bad it WAS. Big fan of it now.
Give me fairway to that tree line though. 270 yards off the tee with 100 yards in, downhill with no obstruction.
I tugged 5 iron there both days, hit a wedge over the tree and two putted.
I’d love to see more Quarry chaos.
Also, this makes it clear that when I’m presented with more ambiguous options I’m good at punching myself in the balls.
Lotta complaining going on here. It’s an easy flared hybrid into the trees on the right, long mid iron to the center of the green (barely missing the old oak tree), 2 putt par.
I was more of a “pull the 6 iron 30 yards left, hit a wedge that sneaks it’s way through the oak tree, 2 putt for par” guy both days.
I would not recommend playing a long iron short and left of the quarry and then absolutely shanking a wedge directly right into the quarry.
My move next year will be to not hit a tee shot, drive up to the quarry and say a quick prayer to the golf gods while tossing a ball in, and then driving to #3 tee and writing a 7 on the scorecard.
Aspirational pace of play move as long as we keep the prayer to a tight 30 seconds.
Me all year prepping for #2
Edit: I have heard the best way to hit a draw, is to make sure you hit a draw.
This info would have been more useful to me before Friday afternoon of the Ope.
And me, Saturday morning.
Fellas, I didnt know about it at all before Friday morning! I was a babe in the woods(lands).
Don’t need that just:
Hit into right shit, drop, hit 4i, make 40 footer for par. Easy.
Did you steal my strategy from #2 and try it on #10?
