The Culver’s and High Life Thread (Ope’n IV)

Starting weight - goal weight = magic number.

Every pound over magic number is $5 to a charity. No more than X% of weight for health reasons?

So would we be talking some sort of flat rate for the starting - goal weight = magic number and then increased contribution for weight lost over the magic number? Seems like $ should kick in before magic number not after.

Exactly, so if my magic number is 220. And I show up to the Ope at 230, I have to donate $50. The motivation of showing up to the Ope with a $200 check is already nerve wracking.

And if we are under weight, we just get a donation from @lazyjk and his super PAC, right?

I like the idea, but I feel like having a base line donation would be good. Hitting the target the be tough, ha!

Say everyone who wanted to participate did a $25 flat donation which could go to winners charity of choice, or Ope charity in winners name? Then any weight loss over the goal goes to Ope charity? Or would it make more sense to have anyone who fails to meet the goal weight pay $5 per pound under the magic number, and a smaller contribution for any weight loss over the magic number?

Is there a Senior Division? I am AARP eligible you know. I can’t push my body like you 25-40 year olds.

I’m 6’2" / 218-223lbs ish. Somewhere in there depending on hard I hit an all you can eat buffet on a given day.

Phentermine is cheap as shit compared to Ozempic and works wonders in short durations. Lost a late 15 going into this years Ope on it. *Not a doctor but also a little bit of prescription speed probably never hurt anybody

Chasing lbs lost is tricky because everyone is different. Maybe set some routine changes or other objective things which require a longer term commitment? Like, 3 periods of focused activity per week or 2 days without snacks per week.
Also suggesting these things because I’m in

I’m gonna do some brainstorming on it this week. Follow this space for further details. Id say I spend a good chunk on it tomorrow but I’ve got a trial that’s gonna take up much of my day.

We’re overthinking this. Just have Matthew the Marine determine the winner by deciding which of the group he thinks is “most tight”.

Which fidelity account are we playing for then?

I came into the weekend with a shoulder injury. Brought a Shoulder X, Venom 2 Back and Normatec Boots and crazy enough the only thing that wasn’t used was the Shoulder X.

He told me I was stronger than him and damnit, that felt good. Even though he was lying.

Tell me more here. I keep looking at it but have not pulled the trigger.

It’s wonderful but only complaint - which I knew before buying - is that it is heat only.

Their shoulder and knee products will do contrast (heat/ice) therapy.

With that said, without the Venom I would have missed the afternoon round on Saturday after missing the AM round. @Jrembold saved me from likely ending up on the floor unable to move Saturday AM.

After a few cycles with the Venom and the hottest shower I could stand, was able to get through the PM round.
