I hope so because that’s what I’m having tonight too.
No you aren’t. You’re too handsome already.
I’ll spend some time this week getting something together and then we can see how many people want to get in on it. I don’t need high stakes either I just mainly need a motivating factor at this point and this seems like a good group to get that with!
Nobody will even recognize me next year!
I’d much rather be dealing with a night of severe storms while sitting at the bar at Lawsonia.
Count me in… i can beat @freesypop at anything
Bump, what a difference a year will make
Proposal:
For every pound I lose each Ope4 attendee will donate 1 dollar to my Super PAC which directly funds my golf travel.
Me please
Pound
Attrition
Campaign
Im thinking we should involve a charity angle for this, as it’s Ope adjacent at the least. I’m not sure how to do it exactly to incentivize. Was kind of thinking everyone could pick/post a charity of their choice and we’d have a monetary stakes, winner gets donation to charity of choice? Or maybe a few top finishers based on the size of the pool?
The OpeZempic Bowl
It is going to be a priority of mine to make sure I get into this next year after seeing all the shenanigans you guys have been up to
It feels like it should go without saying but I’d think ozempic use and the like should be disqualifying from competition. I want a clean game, no doping! But I’d be open to thoughts.
Oh 100%. I’m just a sucker for dumb puns. Although I will be mainlining creatine because daddy loves a good pump during weight training.
I dig the charitable idea. Maybe we could set a goal, and a dollar amount per pound under our goal. So if I set a goal of 20lbs at $5 per pound, if i lose 15lbs , I would still donate $25… something like that could work perhaps
Either that or a fixed contribution per person. Still need to brainstorm that and things like if we need to go over pound, or a percentage. Per pound clearly favors the larger among us!
Make sure we leave room for @MidwestHack to lose his 1 pound to get back into shape.
