I had a nice long drive home to do some reflection yesterday and let me tell you. My brain is still in a spin cycle.
The Ope is like Christmas for me, meaning “it’s the most wonderful time of the year.”
The only thing that sucks is that there isn’t enough time. I look forward to seeing so many of you and like that , it’s gone.
The ope brings people from all over together for nothing more than having fun playing golf and enjoying each others company. The choose your own adventure book has come to life and it’s the absolute best.
As has been said, there are far too many people to tag and no one needs me to do the Tron leaderboard thing, but know that I appreciate this group more than I can put into words. I damn near got tears in my eyes walking off the course on Sunday afternoon with our crew as the storms rolled in.
Can’t wait to seeing you all again next summer. Think of this as a virtual fist bump/hand shake/dap/hug , which ever you prefer.

On another note I will be conducting a “DUI” stop at the turn next year. Everyone will be motioned to pull over and I will personally inspect everyone’s driver’s to ensure they are USGA conforming.
I couldn’t have asked for a better chauffeur and roommate this week. It was a true pleasure. The world would 100% be a better place if there were caps on tv and the internet (the Ope thread is exempt).
Ben, greatly enjoyed played bonus golf with all y’all. No idea how our bodies allowed us to keep swinging but when you’re around great people (except for @Mystic who is a very bad guy), the body can miraculously find energy.
They would be spectacular additions to this tournament. I would love for fellow Dry Heaters to join along in the fun. It was a treat to meet and play golf with you. Really, really it and thanks for making my water bottle 100x better looking. I will see this daily and get a big ole smile remembering back to our round on the Links.
There are many more folks who deserve s/o from me. I enjoyed everyone I met immensely. Final s/o to @Aham13 though. Always a delight to see you and thrilled that it sounds like I’ll be seeing you again in less than a week. You’re dead to me next weekend though.
