Relive Strapped: Iowa, enjoy a deep fried lobster corn dog, curse at the ghost of Perry Maxwell, win an invite to Dobson Ranch, and cool off in the Craft Beer Tent to cap off an amazing weekend. Join the herd for the largest event in the state of Iowa and one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expo’s in the country.
@GreatPlainsGC hosts 2 days of golf in beautiful, balmy central Iowa. Golf Friday morning is optional with most participants playing vintage sets, blades, or irons only at Coldwater Links. The afternoon round at the quirky Veenker is the first of two competitive net stableford rounds needed to qualify for the NIT. Day two is about 30 minutes down the road in Des Moines for the second round of net stableford at Waveland. The late afternoon and evening are spent at the Iowa State Fair which kicks off on the 13th.
Most of the Iowa hitters play a side game on Thursday if interested in arriving early and getting loose.

Enjoy boys! I’ll sadly be busy most of the weekend. Hope to possibly join for 1 round. Also hoping to convince wife and fam to let me sneak over for craft beer tent
