Goddammit, I hate myself. The perils of having my own pullcart for the first time ever. Grandview was the second round using it. I’m so angry that I never checked this particular spot. After spending $700 on unlocking and new key related ventures.

By the way, apparently I have the most expensive Toyota fob there is. Went to an offsite lock place for a new backup fob…$370 big ones. And that was $100 cheaper than what the dealership wanted.

Honestly, my good man, i am laughing. BUT - really glad you at least ended up finding them. If it were me, not knowing what i did with them would have bugged me forever. And Nanski’s right - posting this here to share the humility, humor, and frustration says something.

Funny thing is when I first brought my bag to the car after the round, had I tried to unlock the driver’s door, the fob might have been close enough that the door would have unlocked and I could have really narrowed down the mystery.

Also might not have. I left the fob in my golf bag once, closed the trunk, and had to have my wife bring the spare. Keys being in the car still didn’t let me open the trunk.
Edit: this was after winning the one and only TGJ event I’ve entered in a playoff. 6 hour day all total, 50 mins from my house in afternoon rush hour. Needless to say, she was NOT impressed with my dub.
