Now, not trying to press our luck here, but by chance will you be joining us at Grandview on Thursday?
I am coming down Thursday and will be stopping at Eurofins first thing (late morning or early afternoon). So thereās a distinct possibility.
How many people do we have for the Thursday at Grandview? Do we still have people wanting to do a blade and persimmon?
I play blades full time but planned to play the persimmons at Coldwater. Grandview wouldnāt be a bad spot for them either
depending how it goes at Grandview my blades could see the weekend.
My brother stole my persimmons. Probably owe him them as Ive stolen countless putters and drivers.
We have at least six for Grandview on Thursday, possibly seven depending on Nanski. Three of us locals plus @scagnetti, @dgolfman62281, and yourself. Weāre planning on getting two times around 2:30 as soon as they become available.
Awesome. Just trying to decide when I need to hit the road in the morning.
Wouldnāt you know it, I acquired a third set recently. Original grips though which terrifies me so I havenāt played them.
Iāve decided to drive up that Thursday night. Will play the Friday Morning round to get the full butter cow experience.
We call that getting the full stick of butter. (At least now I will be calling it that
)
Gotta love the full stick. Like makin two boxes of Mac n Cheese at once!
Didnt we actually come up with butter related golf terms awhile back?
I believe 1 irons were called butterknifes back in the day ( @BadBrad enters the chat).
We did. Which reminds me i had a butterface shot on 17 at Landmand.
I also had a ball bounce off a tree, then a different branch, then the cart part, then a different tree, and then on the grass next to the green on 12 at Waveland. I figure thatās a āparkourā shot - but in the spirit of The Butter Cow, perhaps thatās a Parkay Shot?
Found a couple of them:
Margarine - Poorly struck shot that still works.
1 more stick - Shoulda clubbed up.
Full Churn - Full send.
Paula Dean - A fat shot.
Nut Butter - Maybe a term for the guys who walk all 3 rounds, certainly what youll have after.
Salted Butter: an intentional draw or fade
Unsalted Butter: straight ball
A Pat = putt
Body Butter - Body english
Shea Butter: any shot hit by a current or former New York Met
