@RolandOfGilead, I like that you posted so many swing and putt videos in your Bandon recap. Learning quite a bit about your game.
Those celebrations are going to get in your head
Tell us more about the eagle putt you made on #14 at Bandon Trails.
Funny enough, some people have epiphanies at Bandon and 14 on Trails was where I had mine:
36 holes a day for multiple days on a golf trip is stupid.
14 at Bandon Trails was where my body broke down on my 117th hole in four days and I was rendered unable to swing a golf club meaninfgully.
Totally agree with this. Itās supposed to be a vacation, you should have time to relax over one or two good meals and/or drinks with friends each day and take a load off, maybe sleep in a couple days.
The first time I went to Bandon we did one round a day (playing with my Dad, Aunt, Uncle) and the last time I went I did 36 holes once and 18 the other three days, it was perfect.
do whatever you want, which can also include playing 36 holes for consecutive days. I get to ārelaxā on my butt or oooohhh on a stand mat behind a desk all the time, my body likes to move and be outside more often.
No one is telling you what to do, play 36 all you want.
I love being outside too, I hiked 900 miles in 2023 and climbed 160k ft of elevation.
Forgive me for misinterpreting your use of the word should.
You shouldnāt play 36 every day.

I played 42 holes on the Saturday at Soule. That was too much.
Could it have been a tainted chocolate chip cookie on 12? Possibly.
Non DBL DBLers should decamp to other threads with their stories of self-inflicted torture. Thanks.
You shouldnāt be so soft and/or old.
Iām throwing my name on the waitlist here. gotta prove to the socal boys that I exist and am not some sort of fake avatar @GremlinGolfer created to get to Soule Park last month
(not entirely sure if Iām even qualified to joinā¦ my reading comprehension is lacking)
Me when @Gottliebk12 announces that @OnOff has come out of nowhere and walked onto the first tee to caddie for @OffTheDole
Iāll be in a cart and donāt do caddies.
