Our next event is scheduled for Sept 15th at Olivas Links in Ventura, Ca. It will be our 3rd iteration of our Tacos Vs Burritos Ryder cup event. Tee times will start at 10:20 am.
The format for the event is the same it has been the last two years, with three 6-hole matches per group. Each group will have 2 members from each team. Holes 1-6 will be best ball match play, Holes 7-12 will be alt shot match play, and holes 13-18 will be two singles matches. That means each group has 4 total points up for grabs, with a win worth 1 point, halves worth half, and losses worth 0.
Team Burrito is the reigning champ meaning they just need half the total points available to retain the trophy, while Team Taco needs half the total points plus 0.5.
The event will cost $100 dollars, which includes green fees, carts, and range balls. You can choose to walk, but the fee will not be different. Payment will be upfront via Venmo. The signup will have a questionnaire where you can submit your team request, with the caveat that if I have an uneven number of players on each team, I might need to reassign you.
