Other Notes
- College Station, TX is the home of the Fightin’ Texas A&M Fightin’ Aggies (they fight a lot). Being a college town, there are VRBO/AirBnb properties everywhere, as well as the usual suspect hotel chains. Basically everything is close by - anything with a Bryan or College Station address will be <10m from the course.
- The group dinner on Friday night will be at a large AirBnb near by that we have rented. We’re asking each player to bring a six-pack to contribute to the fridge.
- We’re also asking everyone to Uber or carpool to dinner on Friday; everyone please be safe.
- College Station is about 90m away from both Austin Bergstrom airport and Houston Intercontinental airport.
- Public transit options are basically non-existent, so a rental car is pretty much your best option. We’ve got players coming from both Austin and Houston, however, so post here before you rent a car; it’s possible we can get you a ride.
- Many of us are planning on staying in College Station on Saturday night as well, to try and get a Sunday morning game up. After you register, let us know if you’re interested in that and we’ll loop you in. That’s super-informal, tho.
Ping me here with questions. Tagging a few folks from other Supercell, Bigplex, RMR that have played in the past - I can’t tag your whole Roost group, so please circulate? @Preston @duckhunter07 @RobRosson @OliveLoaf @HoselRocketeer
