Spent a very unglamorous year in Tallahassee and Seminole golf course, Mo Betta BBQ, and the Corner Pocket - a pool hall in a strip mall - sustained me.

The Corner Pocket - - -yes. Wish I could remember the owner’s name . . . something like “Gentleman Gene,” I think? I went in the mid 1990s as an undergrad since I wasn’t really into the Tennessee St/Frat scene . . . did most of my hanging out at the 4th Quarter Bar and Grill ($3 Michelob pitchers back in the day).

Pumped see this one. Asked my father-in-law for my wife’s hand in marriage on the 17th tee at the Seminole golf club pre-renovation. Played Hilaman Park a couple of times, which has some solid elevation changes for Florida. Wondering if Jay Revell is going to make an appearance. If so, have to imagine Lanark golf club and the course in Havana are in play.
Really hoping they play St. James Bay which is also in Lanark. It’s sooooo unforgiving off the tee. They could run out of balls on the front 9.
The forgotten coast south of Tallahassee is very much in Strapped’s sweet spot.

Lived in Tallahassee most of my life. Hoping for Capital City, Jake Gaither, and or Hilaman to make an appearance. I always thought of the strapped boys making a run at the mega bonus in Tallahassee. Great craft bar scene as well to enjoy.

They offer public rates. I think you can even find them on Golf Now. Tallahassee’s oldest and probably prettiest club. I think the C-Suite would approve.

Yea. The club has had some creepy history the past year. They dug up a mass grave on the par 5 7th. I won’t lie, I always had a creepy vibe on that hole.

If they don’t go there, did they really visit Tallahassee? The bugs in the parking lot at that place should be studied. I’ve seen things there that I’m sure do not exist anywhere else in nature.

I went back to Guthrie’s in my late 20s and remember thinking it was a good thing the Guthrie’s sauce was that good.
