Very intrigued to see how they morphed the budget and/or rules. I love the concept but these last few seasons were getting pretty absurd - pretty close to just eating lunchables, drinking tapwater, and sleeping in the car. Nobody is traveling like that nor should they want to. The ethos of the show is a golf trip on a budget - not 3 days of naked and afraid + golf.
at work so I can’t PS the diner boys in here
If you look closely, there are pillows and blankets in the dugout.
I’m concerned that you pictures of the dinner boys you could PS in that are NSFW.
I think this isn’t entirely fair. I feel like for the most part the $500 limit has been right on the line of good decision making and its not a big issue, and poor choices get costly.
Without the budget, I don’t think you get some of the shows great moments - stealing from google, renting the travel van, staying with Maggie, etc.
the crux of the issue in charleston was playing the first course that was $60/person. thats double what they’re usually looking at on a round. and extra $50-60 and ~$115 for food and golf the last day is no issue versus the $65 they had.
New Strapped = New Strapped merch. I can only buy the same t shirt so many times.
I have zero desire to ever go play desert golf. But, I am so happy to have the Strapped boys back in my life. And, the benefit of Spring Training baseball content = gold.
A someone who lives in Phoenix, same. Though I doubt any of the courses they played are desert courses (at least 2 of the 3 that we have seemed to likely nail down aren’t desert).
holy shit this trailer is setting some high expectations, I love every second of it
Loved the callback to the baseball training videos of our youth to kick it off. Looks like the Strapped Boys definitely had themselves a time out in Arizona. Cannot wait to see what the C-Suite requested from them as punishment.
Legit just went full 5yr old cheese face for the entire video. Can’t wait.
S tier content out of @djpie and co
Good lord.
RELEASE THE TAAAAAPES!
I watched the trailer and then flipped on PGA tour live to see a memorial commercial also using the boys are back in town. my wife came in the office and was like “why do you keep listening to that song”
This is bad. Not the video, because that is literally the best thing I have ever seen. But it is bad how high my expectations are at how phenomenal this season looks.
