1000% agree with this. I just got around to watching it and then went back and made my wife re-watch it with me. I say this as a compliment, but the golf is the least interesting thing about Strapped. Watching the golf is fun, dont get me wrong, but the Waffle House scene and then into the 3rd episode was genuinely great. Authentic, really really funny, and full of heart.
Just here to say I am currently having an absolute week from hell and everything around me is on fire. Yet i sat on the couch to just like stop thinking for a second and Randy listing off the cost of everything they did in Myrtle still made me hysterically laugh out loud.
Hope you boys keep making seasons of this, it might just be golf most of the time but a lot of the time its way more than just golf.
Not necessarily (I hope) there were 7 months between Tallahasse and New Mexio and another 7 between the end of New Mexio and Myrtle beach. Weâre only coming up on 4 months since Myrtle Beach
Love that this thread still has some activity. I finally got my friend (non-Nest NLU fan) to watch it. His favorite is Northeast, but he was constantly texting me while watching cracking up at the Waffle House and party montage. Good times.
I wouldnât hold your breaths for new Strapped in 2022.
Yeah if I were to parlay a guess, the next Strapped series will be ones the boys truly WANT to do and plan in advance, Bucket List types. Off the top of my head:
West Texas
Big Sky
Any others yâall recall from the various pods they covered this stuff in?
I thought I heard on a pod the goal was 1 a quarter for strapped, so that, couple with the September 8 release of Peoria is what I based my Strapped Obituary on. They may have shifted though from quarterly to less frequent. Also, as been suggested, it may be less scheduled and more of a when they get the itch to do one
Over the last month, I watched every season of Strapped for the first time.
The last episode floored me. Everything that needed to be said has been covered in this thread. I had a smile on my face the whole time. My favorite piece of NLU content. The Warren Zevon montage will stick with me for a long, long time.
Iâm shocked that you hadnât watched Strapped before, but also insanely jealous that you got to binge watch all of that your first time through. Strapped is by far my favorite NLU content and I wish I could go back through like they had never happened.
I had been following NLU on Twitter for ages, and listened to the pod here and there, but didnât get into the larger world of NLU until last summer. I slowly made my way through all of the seasons of Tourist Sauce (wrapped up Michigan in May), and then finally got to Strapped. I have loved every minute.
I particularly loved seeing how the production values got better with each season of TS and Strapped. DJ is so talented.
I cancelled cable recently and have just been falling asleep to Strapped because I donât want to show the ex that Iâm watching anything in her Netflix.
