I understand that as well. I just think if I lived near Charleston and thought well I don’t want to go blow it out just to play golf up there, as it is more widely known for, now I can see I dont have to. Places like Iowa, Baton Rouge, NM, are all places like you said are strange for golf destinations but I wouldnt think a huge budget would be required at any of those. Now this season hopefully shows that places where you might think you have to spend a lot to play fun, interesting golf actually isnt that expensive.

I have mixed feelings about them going to a place which is a more conventional golf ‘destination’…but I’m sure the season will be awesome…

Played Charleston Muni on Thursday for the first time. Close to 3 inches of rain fell overnight. Needless to say the golf course was WET!

To update, @djpie said it’s low country only so any guesses on other two courses? Strapped South Carolina. Can’t wait.
