I was watching the recap pod earlier and @Randy comment about centerline trees reminded me of this…but if they did Lubbock and didn’t play Shadow Hills, then that’s a big miss for the Big Man for center line trees.

I need to get out to Gaines County based on @Snellspace recommendation. My wife and I have seriously pondered making a road trip from Austin to somewhere up in the panhandle and stopping at random nine hole courses the whole way out there. Anson would get a stop for sure, Gaines county and any others that popped up on our radar.

The wildest part of this thread is getting reminded of some of these tiny courses I would play when I lived in Munday for four years.
TPC Lake Creek National in Munday is objectively terrible, but it allowed some fun and experimental routings since nobody was on it.

They could honestly do a series on the college (or school) courses in Indiana alone. Pfau, Ackerman, Kampen, and Warren all slap (I still need to play Warren). Additionally, I’ve heard that Trine has a decent course and Culver might be my white whale for the state at this point now that I’ve played Victoria National.
