DJ said on a recent pod that it won’t be three episodes but one long one. We know from earlier hints and such that it’s apparently in West Texas. That is all.

I’ve got a tidbit that people will love pertaining to the strapped: Louisiana season. Anyways, long story short my buddy is the property manager of the building where Elsie’s Plate and Pie is (where lunch got away from the lads). Anyways, my friend got a call from the owner of the restaurant asking if they had permission for a tv show to come and film there. That TV show is the one, the only, Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. Anyways, the way I see it, Guy Fieri is clearly a cheap knockoff of the Strapped boys.

I believe DJ did say this is basically a feature length Strapped so the edit will inevitably take more time. Tying it in with the Texas swing would be pretty sick though.

Stopped at Elsie’s a few years ago on a trip to Baton Rouge for work…. Art gallery dude told no lies when it comes to the Boudin Burger. Absolutely phenomenal.

I didn’t know where else to post this, so apologies if not the correct place. New to the Nest. Been religiously listening to NLU for a few years now, follow all the boys on Twitter, own some merch, etc. Really, really love NLU and am grateful for their contribution to the game, but for some reason I’ve never intentionally watched Strapped. I watched Tourist Sauce and that was how I initially found NLU and I have watched most of their other YouTube content. I have watched a few eps of Strapped but probably faded out after a few seasons and I don’t remember much from what I did watch.
I am currently rewatching Strapped as I feel like it is borderline sacrilegious to be so into the NLU universe while having not completed this series. I just finished ep 3 of Northeast and Neil is giving his victory speech after the boxing match and I have to say, I never thought I could love Neil more but here I am. So fired up right now and had to tell someone.
