I think the star of the show was the antelope above Neal’s head in the interviews.
In all seriousness, probably the highest compliment I can give is that this show makes me want to go visit Peoria and play golf.

Whats stopping you?
That shot from the hazard
We appreciate the kind words and could not have done it without all of the support and donations from the Central Illinois golf community, the real MVPs!
Great season fellas. I appreciate it.
First question how did @kevjones outdrive Neil with that short backswing???
Also @djpie should totally sell mixtapes in the pro shop.
@kevjones mega Tony Finau vibes with the short backswing and just pure as fuck move through the ball. Really an aspirational transition.
Easy with the Finau comparisons. As far as I know, I’m still on the Narc’s good side. @djpie
I appreciate the kind words!
Another great season in the books.
I will echo what someone said above and that is this series is by far the most Enjoyable show I consistently watch.
Well done to everyone involved.
I know this sounds weird but one of my favorite things in Strapped is seeing the boys away from the course almost as much as playing the golf and I thought this season was fantastic about showing that. It’s what really makes it enjoyable because it is more about the travel aspect and less about the golf.
If i have one complaint its that the 2 on 2 basketball game never happened or at least was not presented to the people.
Give the people what they want! What a tease.
Such a great vibe to this episode. Loved it.
All thanks to @Q-school for that! Awesome gift from one of his trips out west.
Submitted a request to Whoop to denote recovery days <30% as “Jebby”.
@djpie The Mavis Staples + Jeff Tweedy song toward the end was an awesome central IL selection! Great fit to wind down the episode.
My wife and I had a serious LOL moment at the beginning when @Randy said “It’s so bright here so early. I think the sun is different in Illinois” and then the zoom in on the clock at it’s like 10 min til 6am.
Great to see Central Illinois show great on Strapped and for The Diner Boys and The Narc to experience what good people live in this part of the country. Even though I live Peoria-adjacent (1.5 hours southwest) I felt a sense of local pride watching another great season. Well done as always!
Now we just need this pandemic to end so I can go catch a Steady Flow show!
Why does it have to be low handicappers only?
What a great birthday to have, we share it with Neil Peart and Andrew Luck, among others. Congratulations!
Agreed. Mid and high handicappers have more fun! We don’t have to worry about getting upset if we don’t play well. haha.
cause watching bad golf being played isnt very entertaining
