Hot take: the Avanti’s subs are shit. I mean, they’re functional and cheap, but they’re shit. Pizza bread is where it’s at.
If Neil doesn’t make at least one triple at Lick Creek, I’ll be absolutely shocked. There’s no way he doesn’t make it through 18 holes without one unplayable. On the other hand, Newman’s probably as tough as it gets in that area for a golf course, so who knows.
If the seniors in that area are like the ones I had around me, they’re in no hurry to return home anytime soon. You ain’t holding them up, relax boys.
My PEOPLE! I always feel like this, I’m constantly in a hurry. My buddies get mad at me but I literally can not be the person that is slow. Or slowing people down in the slow lane. I have never channeled Icarito more than I have tonight.
Another delightful episode, @djpie. Scott’s a Zen Master, and the conversation between @Randy and @MerchCzar about Neil’s purported desire to become the crafty veteran junkballer had me in stitches.
I am absolutely here for that @MerchCzar meltdown. That was exactly me last week (except I turned in a much higher number lol). Was fighting it all day then finally disintegrated on 11. Then was ok by 13.
The “I’ve thrown my tantrum” had me rolling. It’s exactly how I operate on a course on my bad days. I feel seen.
I used to get mega-puckered if I felt like I was slowing people down on the golf course but…now I don’t give a fuck. I’m almost always waiting on the people in front of me too so settle down.
This episode was bothersome. I have two course pet peeves:
when someone is riding up my ass but won’t play through… or even worse, when I’m playing with slow people that won’t speed up and I know it’s our fault they’re on our tail
players whinging about like someone ran over their dog or they’re going to miss the cut at a major
Not a great look for the guys this week, but Scott seems like a great guy to play with. There’s wisdom in that game.
Not my favorite strapped episode, it felt short, maybe it was because the storyline was Neil being amped and DJs college life. Though I do enjoy and relate with Neil, DJs, And Randy’s frat comments. As a person that despised frats and lived with a guy that was a president of a frat, I understood that conversation very well and I am sure there were a few stories after the camera cut.
We finally agreed on a full send at the green with a cut (right miss was ideal). He just never fully committed but definitely could have pulled it off. Tons of talent in his game.
