Spokane WA Roost?

Anyone on here in the Spokane,WA area? I see Roosts for the west side and Portland areas but wondered if there were any others in the Spokane/CDA area?

BRING STRAPPED TO SPOKANE!

Also, @Schneid13 is in the Spokane area. Not sure there is anyone else though. He’s your best bet to get started.

Hey SpokaneRogers. I’m in Spokane too and know of no Roosts in our area. Maybe we could drum up some interest?

I second this motion!!! So many great options for the Boys.

Would be an amazing place for Strapped. Great options and values available… plus opportunities for the strapped boys to splurge!

The PNW Crew has staked claim to the entire PNW.

You’ll get a annual bone thrown your way (maybe) with a WV round in Walla Walla.

But for all intents and purposes you’re being managed by the Westside (just like everything else in Washington)

I’ll third the motion for Strapped Spokane! I don’t think they’re too “strapped” anymore though!

I’m up for a mini-roost in the area so we can get some representation away from the west side.

I have a group that plays most Fridays around noon weather-permitting. Shoot me a message with your name and number if you’re interested and I’ll send out a text once the courses open up.

If anyone in Spokane ever wants to come to the west side for an outing, all the sign-ups are here: 2025 RTGS Season, Monthly Games, & Monthly Meetup Signups - Google Sheets

We also have a Discord server with about 100 active people, but I think we only have a few folks from outside Seattle/Tacoma area in the Discord. If you want to join: PNW Crew

I live on the west side of the Cascades, but did spend two summers in Spokane. Hopefully I make it over sometime this year to enjoy Spokane/North Idaho golf.
I can tell from what he says that Tron loves the Northwest so hopefully he can bang the drum for a visit to the capital of the inland empire of the Pacific Northwest. Big Randy sure would love it!

Spokane is literally PERFECT for Strapped, so many additional outdoor activities in addition to golf. Hoopfest weekend would be a delightful time of year for @MerchCzar & @Randy to visit. Grab two more players, and play some golf and some street ball.

Hey everyone, just finding this. I am here in Spokane, would love to get out for some twilight golf during the week or a weekend round!

Text me your contact info and I’ll let you know if I set something up. I typically try to play Friday afternoon but I can get out on the weekends sometimes as well.
Thanks!

I’m down in Tri cities. For work. I was tossing around going and playing couer d’alene if i get it a day off. Is it with the 3.5hr drive?

My favorite course in the Couer D’Alene area is Circling Raven but I would say the resort course with the island green is a must play as well. The conditions are perfect and the scenery is amazing!

If you’re in Tri-Cities, would second Circling Raven, but Wine Valley (easy drive, 45 mins) or Palouse Ridge are much closer and of equal stature.

In Spokane as well, and open to build a true Inland NW mini roost!

If this happens, or even if you have a single organized event, I will drag people over from the Seattle area to play and support you all on this.

Born and raised in Spokane. Would love to get something started up over here. Feel free to reach out if anyone wants to get out and play.

I live in Western NY. Here for the Columbia outage. But can speak on the roost thing. As we just got one this year. We had applied for one for 2 or 3 years before we got approved. Our numbers weren’t high. But 2 years ago i started a whatapp for us. Only 6 to start but kept posting in the feed for people to join. Then did matchplay and season long quota for 2 years to just get the momentum and show that we are trying. We built up and finally got approved. Now we have 2 events (1 major) lined up old matchplay, quota and season long points race.

I’m guessing @lazyjk would be interested in meeting up once or twice a year too, coming from Montana.
