anyone wanna help a guy out? haha

Good morning @ASplashOfOJ . A couple items here as we kick off the season with our first event signup coming later today. Hats are in they are $20 ea for pick up. $30 if you want them shipped. QTY is limited and the signup sheet is below.

As far as events go this year we’ll continue to have entry fees, use UKG for signups and the waitlist just like we did last year. Due to the limited number of spots at each event and the fact that some events will carry upfront costs there will an additional $5 admin fee per player on top of each entry free. In addition to that I will be firm on the 24 hour deadline to venmo to secure your spot this year. More and more courses are requiring deposits and I will be chasing people for signups or last minute fills.

Cancellations, if you cancel less than 14 days in advance you will not be refunded in any capacity. Obviously I understand there can be emergencies or extenuating circumstances and I am happy to work with you all on that.

As always feel free to reach out with any questions, looking forward to another fun year!

I usually head to Orlando a few times a winter from NY. Usually bounce around between Shingle Creek, Southern Dunes, Hawk’s Landing, Falcon’s Fire, Eagle Creek, Championsgate and Orange County National.

I’ll keep saying this every time the course is mentioned in this thread or the Orlando thread… Avoid Falcon’s Fire like it’s the plague.

Do you have a group when you go down or you cold call for a single? Seems like im going to be booking the latter.

I’ve done it both ways. Over Thanksgiving I’ll be solo but in January I’ll be with a group of 8.

If you signed up for a hat please go to the sheet and mark if you it shipped or not, going to send out Venmo requests.

Thanks

Hey FL folks, I’ll be visiting my in laws in Orange Park (Jax area) from 12/19 - 12/26. Any recs on where to get out and play Monday or Tuesday before the holiday?

Recommend reviewing the Duval/Jax thread as well:

Eagle Landing, Eagle Harbor, and Fleming Island will be close options. Other cluster of public options will be south in St. Johns County along CR210 (SJG&CC, South Hampton, Stillwater)

Good morning Juicers - going to be in the greater Orlando/Cape Canaveral area for the holidays. Any recs on what are the best places to play some G? Not trying to break the bank, but looking for something nice. Thanks!

Both daytona munis are fun and have trains, riviera in ormond has no tee times, cocoa muni has 27 holes on the water. All should be around $60.

In addition to what @hornett mentioned, the trio of Duran GC, Viera East, and Baytree National aren’t too far from the Cape and are all in reasonable shape. Great Outdoors in Titusville might be OK. Cypress Head in Port Orange would fit that bill as well.

Played it last week, cool course, pretty tough, greens were pristine!

In Orlando for the upcoming holiday weekend and theres not a single WP9 tee time avail? I’ve always felt guilty that I never played it when I lived there and my punishment will have to continue, I guess?

Have to wait until 72 hours in advance. I believe the tee sheet opens around midnight on GolfNow but @hornett can probably confirm.
