Hi, everyone. Casey here with some housekeeping updates for No Laying Up accounts.
What is a No Laying Up account? It is our new way of talking about Refuge accounts. The Refuge message board Community Center, Events, and NLU Content Discussion threads are the parts of the Refuge you can access when you sign up for a free No Laying Up account.
If you already have a free Refuge account, that is your No Laying Up account.
If you are a Nest Member, you too already have a No Laying Up account—it’s just that the Nest is the paid version of the account with access to additional content and the entire Refuge message board (among other perks, which you can read about here.
This reorganization is getting us to a point where everyone will have one sign-in to access the NLUniverse—the Refuge, the Pro Shop, the NLU.com site, etc.
Beginning today, we are offering five (5) free Nest articles/videos to free NLU accounts not subscribed to the Nest by subscribing to the NLU newsletter!
Please see the instructions below for how to redeem:
- Browse the list of Nest-exclusive content at https://nolayingup.com/categories/nest and find a Nest-exclusive article/video that you would like to view. You should see a message indicating the content is only available to Nest subscribers.
- If you already have an active Nest subscription, click the button labeled “Nest Login” to log into your Nest account. You should be redirected back and shown the full article/video. No further action is required. Nothing about this process changes for Nest members.
- If you do not have an existing NLU account, click the button labeled “Subscribe and Get 5 Free Nest articles/videos”, fill out the sign-up form to create a new account, and check the box to subscribe to the newsletter.
After completing the form, the page will refresh automatically.
- If you have an existing free NLU (Refuge only) account but are not subscribed to the Nest or the NLU newsletter, click the button labeled “Nest Login,” and then click the button labeled “Subscribe and Get 5 Free Nest articles/videos”.
- After clicking the button, the email associated with your account will be subscribed to the newsletter, and the page will refresh automatically.
If you believe you are subscribed to the NLU newsletter but are still seeing this message, it may be because you are using different email addresses for your Refuge account and the NLU newsletter. Please contact us if you need help fixing this situation.
- If you have an existing free NLU account and have subscribed to the newsletter but are not logged in, click the button labeled “Nest Login” to log into your account. You should be redirected back to the article/video.
If you have previously redeemed this article or video, you should be able to view it again.
- If you have not previously redeemed this article/video and have free redemptions remaining, you should see a button to redeem.
- Once you are logged in to a free NLU account and subscribed to the NLU newsletter, on the detail page for a Nest-exclusive article/video, click the button labeled “Redeem free Nest article/video.” The page should refresh automatically and display the full content.
- A message will be shown at the top of the content page indicating how many free articles/videos you have left. Once you have used all your free views, you must subscribe to the Nest to view more Nest-exclusive content.
